Import/Export

We have our own import/export division, M.D. Freight Services Limited, who are a Department for Transport (DfT) Cargo Regulated Agent. With close links to the major airlines, MD is assured of both favourable cargo rates and capacity with the carriers.

For companies or retailers with multi-sites across the globe, we can provide consistency of product and supply, which we know is paramount to your business.

Our London distribution hub has dedicated custom bonded areas, allowing M.D. Freight to bring all imported goods quickly and efficiently into the ETSF (External Temporary Storage Facility). This is important to retain control over the products, minimise unnecessary handling, and maintain the cool chain. Through the DfT accreditation, we can deliver directly to the airlines, security screened cargo expertly packed by our trained team. This in-house control over import and export enables MD to truly deliver, ‘Fresh Produce on Demand’.
